Freshman sire LEINSTER got off to a fast start at Keeneland on Sunday when his 2-year-old LENNILU (’23 f. out of Lu Lu’s Pom Pom) went post-ward as his first starter and proceeded to splash to victory over a full field of 11 other juvenile fillies. Trained by PATRICK BIANCONE, the gray filly was ridden by LUIS SAEZ who had also piloted her sire to Graded Stakes wins. LENNILU was bred in Florida by JOE & HELEN BARBAZON, owners of PLEASANT ACRES STALLIONS where Leinster currently stands. She races for owner Amy E. Dunne who also campaigned her sire Leinster who was a multiple graded stakes winner and two-time track record setter sprinting on the turf.
Best of luck to LENNILU and her sire Leinster!
